2000 Year Old Tombs Found In Egypt

Archaeologists have found three tombs that are over 2000 years old, they were found in southern Egypt! The tombs contained some sarcophagi. Sarcophagi are stone coffins, they also contain some clay fragments!

Researchers say that the discovery was a cemetery for a long time! One of the tombs were in a shaft carved in rock, it contained four sarcophagi that had been sculpted to depict a human face. In the other one excavators found six holes that had children in them!

Ali al-Bakry, the head of the mission said another tomb had bones that were believed to be the remains of men women and children of different ages!
