19.4m wave recorded off New Zealand

Just south from New Zealand a company have recorded a 20m wave. It says it was created by the same storm that hit New Zealand. The new Zealand defence force was in collaboration with the company that found the 20m wave. They said they found the wave halfway between New zealand and Antarctica. It also says that the waves combine to make the southern ocean waves among the biggest waves in the world. On the 22nd of may they recorded the 20m wave. The highest wave recorded is 25m tall it was recorded last year in the North Atlantic Ocean between Iceland and the UK. if you were wondering how big 25m is it is about as tall as a 8 storey  building.
